Prosjektbeskrivelse
Prosjektbeskrivelse fra prosjektets søknad til Kreativt Europa:
Keychange is a recognised change-making movement for gender equity in the music industry. It intends to deepen and widen the knowledge on equity, diversity, inclusion and access (EDIA) and strengthen its position as a global intersectional movement for change.
Keychange Leaders (KL) is an innovative cooperation between future-oriented leading organisations, aiming to recognise and support role models and establish a concrete path towards a socially and ecologically sustainable music sector in Europe through individual and collective learning.
KL provides a training programme focused on underrepresented, talented artists and innovators identifying as women and gender-diverse individuals who face professional barriers due to their identity. The Keychange Talent Leadership Programme (TLP) will run for 2 years with 40 participants yearly taking an active part in a leadership skill development programme aiming at the collective imagination of the music sector of tomorrow with EDIA at its core. The TLP will take place in person, ahead of major showcase festivals where participants have further B2B networking and recognition opportunities; and online, in 4 major modules with expert-led workshops on various aspects of leadership, fair, sustainable and EDIA practices; all supported by an individual mentoring programme. The TLP Leaders will join the larger Keychange community of alumni and will continue to benefit from learning opportunities.
In parallel to the TLP, KL partners will collaboratively identify key learnings of the TLP and develop those as digital resources for the wider music sector to learn from best practices, innovative approaches and key data. Going beyond gender, Keychange will support the music sector with a new intersectional data monitoring tool of the Keychange Pledge and annual data analysis to support policy- and decision-making towards the paradigm shift that the Keychange movement, its partners and new leaders are designing collectively.
