Om prosjektet:

Moving Matters aims to reinforce the visibility and development of performing artists in non-urban European areas. The initiative will stimulate 6 young artists to establish themselves in non-urban areas through strong international connections between dynamic artistic centers at the fringe of Europe. This will be achieved through an integrated program, which will promote the young artists' independence and empowerment.

The two years program:

• A mentorship program supporting the young artists' own artistic projects, which will be presented as finished performances or work-in-progress in a showcase at the end of the project (6 original works created).
• 3 co-productions connected to the artistic research and production of the hosting organizations, which will lead to 3 public presentations of 3 new artistic works.
• 3 Workshops in physical theatre/soundscape, dance and dramaturgy. 
• A business training (16 months) on project development and internationalization.
• A well-being program (22 months in total) that will follow the process to ensure good communication and self-awareness of the participants, including 1 well-being retreat.
• A research program (lifelong during the project's lifespan) carried out and presented during 2 roundtables, producing 1 final intellectual output (toolkit).
• Opportunities for connections, visibility and networking at an international level with the 4 partner organizations (7 established professionals of the CCS), 4 local communities, 1 university professor, 1 international business trainer, 3 international networks, 7 theatres, 3 festivals, 4 organizations for the promotion of arts and culture, 1 final multiplier event. 

The project will benefit and engage directly: 6 young emerging artists, 4 established organizations of the CCS, up to 30 professionals of the CCS, 1 university professor, 1 business trainer, 3 international networks, up to 100 cultural representatives, up to 720 local community members, up to 15 policymakers.
